My focus is on closing the achievement gap and providing targeted support to underserved students, including low-income and minority groups. By strengthening academic programs and ensuring resources are accessible to all, we can create an environment where every student thrives, both academically and emotionally.

Ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our students is my top priority. I will advocate for enhanced mental health resources and services that are culturally sensitive and accessible to all students. This includes creating a supportive school climate where students feel safe, respected, and cared for—both in the classroom and in their daily lives. Additionally, improving school commutes and promoting safe transportation options will help reduce stress for students and families.

I will also ensure that the community is informed and involved in financial decisions affecting our schools.

Addressing Phone and Social Media Addiction
Promoting Healthy Digital Habits for Students
Recent studies show that excessive phone and social media use is linked to increased anxiety, distraction, and lower academic performance in students. I believe it’s crucial to address this growing issue by educating students on the effects of social media addiction and promoting healthier digital habits.
